We decided to go over to the old part of Las Vegas to FREEDOM STREET. Over our heads the flag unrolled on a screen with patriotic music. It was amazing in person.
If you didn't feel PATRIOTIC after going to Freedom Street you weren't AMERICAN.
Stars and Stripes Forever
Stars and Stripes ForeverIs this AWESOME or what?
This one was for Duke, my son-in-law, since he is a Marine in Okinawa, Japan right now flying the Osprey planes.
I didn't go into the Casino's, but the lights lite up the whole street.
Caesar's Palace
One night we went over to Caesar's Palace to see the water show with the fountains in front. It is quite spectacular. We enjoyed watching the big production, "O". AMAZING.
The fountain is actually from the Palace looking across the street to the PARIS HOTEL. The water shoots up to music.
PARIS Hotel at night in Vegas was
BEAUTIFUL.

Inside Casear's Palace we enjoyed the week after Christmas with the decorations still up. Pretty spectcular. Look at those HUGE Bells.
Poinsetta's around fountains and Tin Soldiers. We walked through the tube with water spraying over it. It was like being in a snowglobe. Clint & Diane inside the tube.
Look at that Gingerbread looking house in the background behind Santa's Reindeer. It is totally made of Hershey's Chocolate Bars.
Seriously just watched a few times people gamble and win or lose their money. Not a great atmosphere to be in. We usually would get through the hotel Casino and go to the "better" sites in the hotels. The foyer of the hotel reminded me somewhat of Versailles were the Treaty was signed in the Hall of Mirrors (and chandeliers)

They painted the sky inside the hotel to give you the appearance of the streets of Paris. So Fun.
Reminds me of the bridge over the Seine River in Paris.
Really see a lot of interesting people walking the streets. Just passed Elvis and a Transformer. Wonder who we will see next?
