Celebrating 30 Years of Marriage in Florida. The Trees come down.

Clint and I enjoyed a mini vacation in Florida at Clearwater Beach near Tampa.  Tons of fun.

Love the sunsets on the beach.  Love this man!!

 SUNSETS ARE AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR.

We decided to spend an afternoon on Honeymoon Island (named after an article written about newlyweds).  Loved it!

Relaxing and soaking in some sun.

I love the entrance to the beach and the sea grass.

We walked and walked along the beach looking for shells.

It started 30 Years ago when Clint asked me to marry him by popping the question by writing it in the sand.  Can't believe it's been 30 Years!!

Clint found this turtle walking along the beach.  He was headed across a hot asphalt parking lot, so Clint turned him around to the Ocean water.

Outside our hotel was a cruise ship that reminded me of Captain Hook's from Peter Pan.  Some people out there were having a lot of FUN.

I sure got some sun...too much!!  I look like a Lobster here.

Walks o n the beach with Clint is one of my most favorite things to do together.

 Another beautiful sunset we enjoyed.
Sunsets, palms, beaches and warm weather  are the BEST !!!

This is almost identical to a photo I took off Waikiki Beach in Hawaii many years ago.  The sailboat brings back lots of memories.  What a wonderful weekend together to celebrate our marriage.  Marriage is a wonderful thing.  It can be hard at times, but overall the love it brings and the joy of caring for one another and having a family is heaven on earth.

May 2014- Trees in Yard came down
The back yard trees got a trim, and the big one by our front drive had to be taken out so it wouldn't fall on our home.  They estimated it was 150-200 years old.  It was a sad day.  We tried to save it, but it was splittng apart and filling up with water.

Since I enjoy shade in our yard, this was not a good feeling to have to cut down these trees, but it was impossible to save these trees.

Rootstech Salt Lake City, Utah 2014

Diane  Shirleen at the Conference Hall.  We also met my sister, Karen Bradford there.

Salt Palace Rootstech 2014. 8,000 people came all over the world to learn about how to find their family with the latest technology.
The Family History Library was packed during Rootstech.

Shirleen was great to teach me pastels at night in the hotel we stayed in.  It was a lot of fun.  She is so talented. I painted this painting that she showed me.  LOVE pastels.

Diane visiting with Lois Bushman, Jolyn & Steve Bushman at Gary's home. We always enjoy visiting.  I was the only one without a spouse.  Clint was in Asia.

My Mom, Lois Bushman at home in Provo, Utah with her cat KiKi.  They enjoy each other very much.
Mom has Macular Degeneration in her eyes.  I took her to the Doctor  while I was there.  He said her eyes were looking better, but she has to have shots in her eyes every now and then.  She can't understand why he won't let her drive.  She claims she can see just as well as ever. Ha, I think she is in denial.

Mom in her driveway at 1020 E 2680 N., Provo, Utah.  She has lived there since 1969.

I love where she lives and I miss the mountains of Utah.
Mom outside her home looking up the street at Squaw Peak.

I told Mom to look into my ipad and I snapped a picture.  She isn't too sure about technology, but thinks it is nice.  She is 89 years old and the best Mama in the world.

February 2014

Clint had a business trip to South Korea for Walmart Corporation.  He decided to spend 2 or 3 vacation days flying to Okinawa, Japan to see Mickelle and Duke who moved there in October  Duke got his assignment as a Marine Pilot flying those HUGE Osprey planes.

They live on Camp Lester in Chatan, Okinawa. This beach is just down the street from where they live.
 Sunsets in Okinawa are spectacular.
I love the reflection on the water.
Clint enjoyed bike riding around the islands with Duke & Mickelle

Mickelle is always full of energy.

It's tropical in Okinawa.
Mickelle's kitchen in their place on Camp Lester.
Clint at another look out on the Island.

The McCrory's took Clint to lots of look out places along the coastline.

Clint enjoyed the Cherry Blossoms that were on when he was there.
Cute Mickelle showing her Dad all over Okinawa.

Lots of Ancient stuff on the island.  It was all Typhoon proof.
Pineapple Farm that Mickelle and Clint enjoyed touring in little carts.
