Biking is a BLAST!!!

I got my girls out of bed to go bike over to Compton Gardens with me. It was so much fun. It's something that we enjoy as a family. Clint can go up and down the hills (mtns) with out stopping. I have to keep stopping and walk my bike up the steep inclines. On this trip there were 4 fawns running along side us in some of the wooded parts.

Maybe someday I can bike 18 miles an hour like Clint does up and down hills.

Summer Fun

I love summer and this summer was no exception. I celebrated my birthday with all my kids except my missionary son home. Wow it was great to have Brittany & Mickelle home. Brittany brought her friend, Jules Ferreria with her. They threw a big Hawaiian surprise on our deck complete with music, lights and entertainment. Clint & Mickelle had made a Hawaiian dinner and a cheesecake for me. I spent the next day tubing on Loch Lomond Lake with the family. Water sports is one of my favorites.

4th of July in Provo, Utah

We decided to stay for the 4th of July and see the Provo Freedom festival parade and spectacular at the football stadium with FREE tickets compliments of Gary & Debbie. The Jonas Brothers, She Daisy, & Glenn Beck. Jonathan & Erica loved it !!! The kids had fun on Grandma's lawn with sparklers and the usual fire crackers.

Yellowstone Cabin cousins bonding

Yellowstone- Hebgen Lake: Krissie, my sister-in-law was so kind to invite us to her families cabin. The kids caught 21 and 17.5 inch trout. The kids played Nertz (spelling) non stop....at least 100 times no lie. So much fun and laughter with their cousins. I actually had to leave Clint with his family and drive alone with the kids. Poor guy had to work for a living since he took me to Europe and we already had a winter vacation in Utah.

Summer Family reunion in Yellowstone & Utah

What can I say...the family slept while I played in Yellowstone at the Hebgen Lake Cabin. I don't know if they appreciate these pictures. However, I know we all relaxed...some more than others. We kayaked, tubed, read, played games, watched movies, read and had fun. It was great to be together.

Kit Kat (Mushu)

So, here is my cat that I love. We have things in life we like and this one is therapeutic for me. His name is kit kat, but the kids named him Mushu after the dragon from Mulan the movie. He loves to be outside when it is warm or hot, but can't stand cold. He sounds like me. My husband and his brothers and Dad are anti cat people. Some people are not very compassionate to God's wonderful creations. Kit kat is fun to play ball with too. He is a spiritual cat. He comes for scripture study, and the home teachers better than the kids do. He also doesn't talk back to me.

Summer is here at last for Jonathan

Jonathan being 11 is busy,busy with friends over constantly. Playing Wii, Basketball, biking, swimming in the backyard and out in the woods. He is my blond baby boy.
